Tim's long days: finishing up those pesky outriggers, putting supports in place for the 2' roof overhand which will protect the siding from weather.


Collar-ties; 2x12's reaching across the rafters to steady them, came next. Use your imagination on this one: Lisa is standing on a 12' step ladder holding one end while Tim nail-guns the other end in place from scaffolding. We both had sore arms after this day!



Lisa screwed these "stops" in place (at Tim's direction, of course) to hold sheets of roofing plywood in place while he nailed them down.
